Nestled in a quiet alley of the Nagamachi Samurai District, Yazawa is a carefully renovated vacant house turned into a private rental.

A bookstore founded by photographer Yukito Kono. Built around the concept of an “open study”, it primarily features contemporary photography, offering art books and publications from a diverse range of publishers worldwide. The space also functions as a gallery, hosting curated exhibitions and events.

Udon Soba Matsumoto

創業108年、4代目店主が営む古式手打そばと自家製うどんの店。石臼挽き一番粉のみを使用した二八そばが名物です。夜はおいしい日本酒と一品料理も豊富で新鮮な刺身と上質な天ぷらが楽しめます。

A long-established soba and udon restaurant run by the fourth-generation owner, in business for 108 years. Its specialty is nihachi soba made exclusively with first-grade stone-milled buckwheat flour. In the evening, guests can enjoy fine sake, fresh sashimi, and quality tempura along with a variety of small dishes.

八沢と金沢駅の間にあり、小学校や図書館に隣接する静かな公園です。木陰のベンチやアスレチックがあり、散歩や読書をしながら季節の移ろいをゆっくり感じられます。春には桜も美しい公園です。

A quiet park located between Yazawa and Kanazawa Station, sits next to an elementary school and a public library. You can relax on benches shaded by trees or near small play structures, taking a gentle stroll or reading while feeling the changing seasons. In spring, the park is beautifully adorned with cherry blossoms.

煙がもくもくと湧き上がる、老舗の雰囲気が特徴の焼肉店。何を食べても美味しいですが、中でも納豆ユッケは絶品です。焼きそば等のサイドメニューも充実。お米は早めの注文がマストです。

A long-established Yakiniku restaurant known for its nostalgic atmosphere and the billowing smoke that fills the air. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the Natto yukhoe is truly exceptional. The side dishes, like yakisoba, are also plentiful, and if you want rice, be sure to order it early.

We have opened “YASAWA,” a private rental accommodation in Nagamachi, Kanazawa. Tucked away in a quiet alley within the former samurai district, the house has been carefully restored from a once-vacant property. We warmly welcome your visit.
